Unlimited Care Providers was established in 2004, as a part of Choices Inc. Unlimited Care Providers assists indiviuals with a traumatic brain injury find the services needed to remain living in their own homes and communities.

Having only 1 full-time employee in June of 2006, Unlimited Care Providers now employs 3 people, John Foster , Lindy Mishler and Kerry Figurelle

 


has a B.S. in Behavioral Science and an Associates in Legal Assistant from Mount Aloysius College.  John has been with the Choices family of companies for 11 years.  In that time, John has worked with consumers living in nursing homes in a six county area to help them transition from the nursing home back into the community.  John has worked in all three of the Community Services Programs for Persons with Physical Disabilities (CSPPPD) waivers; the Independence, OBRA and COMMCARE Waivers.  John changed from working with consumers living in nursing facilities to working with consumers living in the community.  He became a supports coordinator when the waivers first became available to consumers, and moved up to become the Regional Program Director for CSPPPD/Attendant Care/PDA programs for UCP/SAR.  In 2006, John was chosen to be the first Regional Program Director for Unlimited Care Providers which would provide services exclusively to people with traumatic brain injuries.  John was a certified MANDT trainer and conducted training for attendants that work with consumers that have a head injury.  In September of 2007 John passed the exam and is now a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.  September of 2008 John completed the Autism Spectrum Training.


is a 2003 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree in Sociology. While in college, Lindy completed her internship during the summer of 2002 as a Counselor for New Day Inc. in Johnstown, PA. She then returned the following summer as the Assistant Camp Director where she continued to counsel adolescent children among other duties. From 2003- 2007, Lindy worked for Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center as a Therapeutic Staff Support and worked with children with a number of diagnoses’, as well as received specialized training in the area of Autism. In May 2007, Lindy accepted a job with Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Alleghenies Region) as a CSPPPD Service Coordinator. Lindy coordinated services for consumer with various disabilities to assist them with their independence, so they were able to remain in their homes. During the first year of her employment, Lindy gained experience working with consumers who have sustained traumatic brain injuries. And, in July 2008, Lindy became a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists and accepted a position with Unlimited Care Providers as a COMMCARE Service Coordinator for consumers with traumatic brain injuries.


attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. She graduated in 2004 with a Program of Emphasis in Health Communication and a Secondary Emphasis in Sociology. While in college, Kerry volunteered with Raystown Developmental Services in their group homes. In March 2004, Kerry accepted a job with Cove Forge Behavioral Services in Williamsburg, PA as a Mental Health Specialist. While there, she worked with adolescent males with developmental disabilities who lived in Cove Forge’s residential treatment facility. In August 2004, Kerry accepted a job with Raystown Developmental Services in Huntingdon PA as a Program Specialist. She worked with consumers who received services through MH/MR’s Habilitation Aide Program and consumers who attended RDS’s Adult Training Facility. In May 2006, Kerry accepted a job with United Cerebral Palsy Southern Allegheny Region as a CSPPPD Service Coordinator. Kerry coordinated services for consumers with various disabilities to keep them independent in their own homes. While working at United Cerebral Palsy, Kerry gained experience working with people who sustained traumatic brain injuries. In September 2007, Kerry accepted a position with Unlimited Care Providers as a COMMCARE Service Coordinator for consumers with traumatic brain injuries. In June of 2008 Kerry passed the exam is now a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
